Founded by Ronnie Klatt in Austin, TX
Built on the American Dream
Ronnie and his brother Ray started Lauren Concrete in 1986 with one plant, three trucks and only a handful of employees.
Suppliers were tough on them, competitors tried to squeeze them out and they had very little money, but because of their attitude of “failure is not an option” Lauren Concrete is now 26-plants strong, owns 3 aggregate quarries and is a leading provider of ready-mix concrete in Central Texas. Ronnie and Ray may have started it, but it has taken many like-minded, dedicated individuals to get us to where we are today.

With 20 million tons of reserves and a robust fleet in our Tanker & Aggregate Haul Divisions, Lauren Concrete makes sure customers are not affected by material shortages. Our Texas Aggregates Locations are in Bastrop and Ellinger.
